AETN has created a broadband video player for affiliates and partners worldwide to add videos to their local websites. The first version of the video player launched in Germany in 2007 with 25 episodes from The History Channel and The Biography Channel as well as short-form programs from both brands.

The player can be customized to include one, two or three brands, long-form and short-form videos, and to support a free, pay (subscription or transaction) or advertising model. The player can also be integrated to each local website by linking program information to short-form or long-form clips and driving viewers through the buying process.
