NEW YORK, JUNE 9, 2008 – The Season 2 premiere of ICE ROAD TRUCKERS, which debuted Sunday, June 8th at 9pm ET/PT on History™, garnered huge numbers – with nearly 4 million Total Viewers, 2.3 million Adult 25-54 viewers and 2.3 million Adult 18-49 viewers, as well as scoring a 2.7 AA household rating. All of these numbers showed increases versus both its Season 1 premiere and its freshman season numbers. This marked the best-ever season launch of a series on History.

ICE ROAD TRUCKERS Season 1 premiere at 9pm ET/PT:

  • 3.9 million TOTAL VIEWERS: Up 15% vs Season 1 debut (3.4 million) and up 22% vs Season 1 average (3.2 million)
  • 2.3 million ADULTS 25-54: Up 15% vs Season 1 debut (2 million) and Season 1 average (2 million)
  • 2.3 million ADULTS 18-49: Up 28% vs Season 1 debut (1.8 million) and Season 1 average (1.8 million)

The season finale of AX MEN at 10pm ET/PT finished out the season of the new hit series with 2.4 million Total Viewers, up 26% versus the season average to date, and increases in all other key demos.
